HERITAGE DAY CELEBRATIONS

We had a fantastic day celebrating our cultures and heritage. Wayne and Tiffany hosted us and delivered a great quiz. Every year we separate in to our cultural groups to put on a performance of traditional songs, dances, plays or events. We cook our traditional foods for each other and we wear our beautiful outfits.

This years performance winners were: THE AFRIKAANS!! They came in with rugby chants in Spring Bok shirts and recited beautiful poetry and danced. This was their best year yet. Congratulations! We hope you enjoy your special winners lunch!

Congratulations to our best dressed and most enthusiastic winners also. It was an amazing event and we all learnt a lot and celebrated.
